Doug, well yes, some of this holds true. If you have absolutely no cash reserves you could end up hurting a bit. You would have to sell something. But if I have losses in real good stocks, I would sell some of my winners first and hold my good downbeaten stocks. I think everybody has a diff. method and whatever works best for someone is in at that point. I have been doing this for 15 years and I had many ups and downs, but without margin I would have less profits despite the interest. When markets get really overvalued, you have to lighten up on your margin. I just don't see this great over valuation yet. The market has been selfadjusting quite nicely. I don't think this drop was necessary but commission houses and short sellers think otherwise. I meant brokerage houses. gg.
