"In Pennsylvania, Casey Maintains Lead
Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) remains one of the nation’s most endangered incumbents, according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll. Challenger Bob Casey, Jr. (D) currently leads Santorum by 10 points, 49% to 39%, while Carl Romanelli (G) receives 5%.
In August, Casey led Santorum by eight points, 48% to 40%.
In Pennsylvania, Rendell Pulls Further Ahead
Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell (D) has added eight points to his lead over Lynn Swann (R) since August, according to a new Rasmussen Reports survey. Rendell currently holds a commanding 20-point lead over Swann, 56% to 36%.
“Rendell’s support has grown slowly but steadily throughout the year. Meanwhile, support for Swann, who started the year a couple points ahead in our poll, has steadily eroded.” |
