Gregg,

there are a lot of hostility toward analysts on most of these threads, especially when the analysts disagree with the concensus. I generally ignore the buy/sell/hold recommendations and read what the analysts have to say. Though their conclusions may be biased, I generally find their analysis factual.

I wonder if this DMG "report" which I have not seen anywhere is factual, rumor, or possibly just out dated? For CNBC to make a one time short rpt, in conjunction with a GS "rebuttal", is just about the most unusual "news" today.

Logically, if the dual mode Q is suffering from the same problems, Dr J would certainly have taken advantage of the press releases the last few days and added that issue. Furthermore, if Sprint is "dropping" the phone, did Cabi mean to say cancel, postpone, reject or what? This is major news and I seriously doubt that Dr J would not have disclosed immediately, if Sprint is cancelling an order the magnitude of the Q.
