So you want me to spell it out slower for you, counselor? Payroll taxes supports(or tries to these days) the Social Security program .....does the holiday away from that source of funds make the program stronger? It is just a step into bailing out a soon to fail system that used to be based on employee/employer contributions.....the idea of replacing those revenues with other taxes is a total step away from the tenants and history of the program. I suppose we can just take wild guesses in the future to determine levels of benefits. It's class warfare and b.s. to boot.
