Wharfie, you keep saying "That's the plan" without even thinking about whether the plan is viable or not.

I have seen so many different methods for storing excess electricity from renewable sources, including but not limited to:

- Large-scale Li-ion batteries (Tesla Megapack)

- Pumped-storage hydroelectricity (i.e. water reservoirs)

- Kinetic energy storage from pulleys and concrete blocks (or flywheels)

- Thermal energy storage

They all have the same problems. They are just not cost-efficient.

Improving their efficiency is like improving the efficiency of internal combustion engines. There are fundamental barriers that cannot be overcome without significant breakthroughs in technology.

It's obvious you don't understand the challenges involved here. All you do is spam links, then run away when challenged on any one of them.
