No need to apologize to me, perhaps to the little old ladies and young children, but not to me:) I was just having some fun. Sometimes when we get emotional (I know about this from personal experience) about a something, we need someone to slap us upside our head:)
It's interesting that so many observers of/investors in Oracle wring their hands over the way Oracle operates and handles "the street", when they know they're just not good at it. They expect them to change, that somehow the leopard will change it's spots. ORCL is not MSFT, they don't "arrange" their numbers. LE is not Gates, Dell or Welch, he doesn't do well in trying to schmooze "the boys". It obviously works against him at times, but that's what we've got, that's what we bought. I'd say though, that he brings a considerable number of other talents to the party (when he decides to stay at the party). I'll take the tradeoff. Those who aren't comfortable with the company's style or personality, need to either deal with it or move on. Know that these fluctuations, and personality disorders<g> are just a part and parcel of owning this stock. Screaming from the mountain tops for them to "change" will only make one hoarse. You presumably bought a software company you believe to be fundamentally strong and poised for growth, learn to live with its quirks. There are NO perfect companies.
Mr. Mizzou, the "you's" in the above rambling commentary were of a general nature, not specific to youself.
Very impressive morning for the home team.
