I know, MJ. Repubs are more intelligent than Dems - that's why they are not liberals. However, when it comes to elections we have to be practical and choose the candidate who can win. Gingrich IMO cannot win. We can use all the rational arguments we want to explain how he's a better debater than the big O, etc yet that will not win the presidency. The GOP candidate has to have both intelligence and fulfill the image the majority of American voters prefer in their Commander in Chief. Unfortunately, Gingrich only fits one half the profile. The standard for the Repub candidate is set higher due to the given that the lefty media will promote O during the campaign.
