One OT re quantum physics-lol: This is very trippy!!

Basic ingredients of quantum physics: uncertainty principle, complementarity, wave particle duality, superposition (me:wave action).

Now here is what is trippy:

"Atoms need the uncertainty principle to exist, so it is actually a part of matter, rather than merely a limitation" (Johnjoe McFadden, professor of molecular genetics Surry England.)

"Negatively charged electrons should crash down upon the positively charged nucleus. What keeps electrons up? The uncertainty principle. If we imagine an electron that has fallen into the nucleus, then its position would be confined to the tiny radius of the nucleus.

This confinement in position invokes the uncertainty principle and must be balanced by a huge degree of uncertainty for the particles momentum.. That extra momentum borrowed from the uncertianty principle would immediately cause the electon to fly right out.

The strong nuclear force and HUP keep the electrons and protons as close as possible, but not too close.
