I remember the detail of a news release that talked about how dell came in on a big acct. that IBM had. ended up with 50% of the business....1000's of pc's....anyway.
IBM said they would squeeze dell out on price and would not be undercut.
IBM can sell at low prieces and lose alittle.
IBM actually buys raw components cheaper than dell and a pc is 95% mat'l cost and 1% labor
