Don't confuse big with deep. LMDS A grants offer beaucoup capacity in a market but not all believe 1.15 GHz will be used so quickly as FCC in its own infinite wisdom at time assumed auction winner would go after residential video market to compete with cable in addition to HSA and CLEC markets. AT&T has biggest and thinest footprint in US yet it is reportedly working on beefing up what 100 MHz per market can deliver via recycling its Project Angel PCS technology. Likely that business data and voice market requires something between extremes of AT&T and Nextlink and that is what other companies Mark mentioned have and are as or more focused.
