Sonny & All
Here's a couple for ya all to gander at.

Chipmaking titan Intel rose 1 1/2 to 85 9/16 and computer maker Digital Equipment rose 1 9/16 to 50 9/16 on speculation that Digital will license its Alpha chip architecture to Intel, in exchange for Intel's assistance in product development based on Alpha technology. Such a deal would settle a $1.6 billion intellectual propert dispute between the companies.

Digital Equipment Corp. shares surged on positive analyst comments and speculation it may soon settle its patent dispute with Intel Corp. Dow Jones reported Ashok Kumar, an analyst at Loewenbaum & Co., said the companies are discussing a settlement worth $1.6 billion. Goldman
Sachs analyst Laura Conigliaro said IBM's strong earnings results, especially the news of a rebound in Europe may trickle down to Digital shares as well. About 40 percent of Digital's business is in
Europe, and the company would benefit from improved revenue there. Wall Street is also rife with speculation Digital and Intel will soon end their ongoing patent dispute, which could leave Digital with
much-needed cash. Goldman maintained a "market outperform" rating on the stock. Shares rose 1 5/8 to 50 5/8 and Intel shares jumped 1 to 85 1/8.
