Your post surprises me a lot. First, you change the conversation from facts to personal attacks. I consider it a golden rule, never to be personal - it destroys all cooperation and possibilities for a meaningful exchange of opinions. However, I am very direct, and don't try to avoid confrontations, and also, I am not emotionally involved with the thread issue. This may make you perceive some arrogance, but it was surely not meant that way. I'm very humble towards the knowledge that I can get here, and my questions only have the purpose of making you guys tell me more. If you have interpreted any question differently, something has gone wrong.
With regard to emotional involvement: I speak to several people in USA about this topic, and not everybody agrees with you. One of my frequent contacts votes for McCain, because he wants to lower taxes and loves almost everything that president Bush has done. I understand his opinion, but certainly disagree with him. Such U.S. citizens consider the contents of this thread totally unrealistic and destructive.
I would love to be able to tell these U.S. citizens, why this thread make sense. But I am not, because their arguments seem better. Almost all arguments delivered on this thread can be easily countered, because they lack details. That's why I am digging. |
