Really Wild Speculation; Somewhere on these boards or in the news, it was mentioned that Franco Nevada was considering a buy-out of Stillwater just before the Franc/Goldfields deal was announced. Recently Franco started a lawsuit against Canyon to get back the monies advanced to Canyon to sue the state of Montana over the MacDonald project (cancelled because of the new law against use of cyanide). Is Franco doing this to "suck-up" to Montana and the radical environmentalists in that state so that the take-over of SWC by foreigners is approved?
