Let me explain.........when I went to college in 1966, the school was state and federally funded........there were no loans involved. Similarly, th e government subsidized all medical students by paying each med school money for each student they had. Again no paybacks were in place. So, when I say that my tuition bills were small it was because there was government subsidies.......something not available today. That's why college and med school tuitions each approach 30,000 dollars a year...........outragous!
