Stocks for 2000 on AOL: Digital TV for all by 2006... We like Lucent [LU] for a multitude of reasons. One reason in particular is digital television, HDTV. The government has mandated that by the year 2006, all television stations will have to be broadcasting in digital, not analog. And Lucent is coming up with the standards for the industry in digital television.
