I think it is interesting that Walsh continues to say that de Guzman's death is a suicide. He claims to have seen the letter and ventures to say that he believes it to be in de Guzman's handwriting. Walsh really seems to be careful about not insinuating corruption on the Indonesian front. This, however, could simply be because he doesn't want to piss off the Indos.

The varying reports of who was on the plane, and the idea that the two other passengers were past military men and were not the normal crew is also very interesting, as are the new appointees being made in Indonesia right now, such as the Director/Supervisor of Mines, who was replaced and who a co-worker claims to have been one of the most competent men for that position. Maybe these are all Hasan/Suharto guys being brought in to help them carry out their plans?
