Sorry, I disagree... I know many companies that are surviving this down trend. They were not the greedy ones that got caught in the mania...

Anyway I see many people making much more than they were worth. So why should I be paying for someone's salary that was obviously making more than they should have? If they could find a job for half the salary, what would make them want to get a job?

And how would you classify stock options if granted them? Would those be considered compensation and included in the 70%? That would cost tax payers more money...

We need a purge in the economey to clean out the overage, those not prepared for such a purging had not payed attn in their history classes...
