I agree with your statement that alcohol and marijuana should be treated the same as far as the law is concerned.

Someone someplace probably has a running tally as to the cost, both in human suffering, and human deaths caused by alcoholics that are addicted to alcohol.

I don't know that there are figures for the exact same thing as above for the 10% who are addicted to marijuana, AND go on to bigger and stronger drugs.

I think that before we as a Government for the people decide to make it legal, we had better compare the costs of the 10% of the addicted and the damage they will inflict on other humans and their community, before we legalize it.

With the exception of medical use of marijuana. I think that should be between a Doctor and his/her patient, with ALL the necessary warning labels applied.
