Many shorts . . .
RE: gang-banging. It would not be wise for me to elaborate, publicly or privately. The key word in the phrase is "never never". The person to whom it was aimed will pick up on it, and understand it.
The last poem: You'd have to go back a few months to know of whom I was memorializing. Does "the blot" ring any bells? If not its not important. I'm sure I will sooner or later wear the subject matter out.
misery=Missouri: While I have hitch-hiked through the state three times it wasn't meant to imply the definition of misery. It is a way of saying MO (state) in something I call lazy english. I could give other examples, but unfortunately I can only think of local examples and if you picked up on it some time ago, you would know that giving a living location is not in my best (paranoid) interest.
No, I was wondering from what part of Missouri your grandmother was from. Just simple curiosity.
We got Bear, our housefriend and protector, from an animal shelter some years ago. I had always wanted a dog, but never got one because I knew that I had not settled down enough to be responsible enough to insure longevity. I have a friend that does not for all his best intentions seem to carry this out. Some way or another, somebody always ends up with his unfortunate circumstances.
You know, Christine, not to rehash hash or anything, my little not so nice outburst at CaSIP still haunts me. I feel as though I was the blasting cap that set off a whole truck load of TNT. I hope you'll post on the thread without reservation. I really did enjoy the stuff that your "sister" shared and of course I have always liked the other two pieces. I also like the last verse of the one at #1008(this thread), what a powerful four lines. I felt as though I was reading the sum of a whole life.
Better go before I get timed out.
See ya,
