Way back when Walt Disney was alive he dreamed up EPCOT, an Experimental Prototype City Of Tomorrow, where a new city would be created like a wheel's hub. In the center would be the commerce and market areas, and then spoking out would be the living communities.
This would make transit less lengthy and suitable for much energy saving.
He died, and with it his dream. We do have an Epcot here outside of Orlando, but mostly a tourist attraction.
Think of one like that now, and pretend you own a Segue to get around with.
Neato idea then, and neato idea now.
