Tenchu's Thoughts (Brief) - An Honest Question To All the Liberals On This Thread

I'm guessing that most of the regulars on this thread today are elderly white men who are either retired or close to being retired.

So my question to you, especially those on the left, is this.

You saw what happened to Bernie Sanders over the past week. You saw how he got accused of sexism, how Elizabeth Warren claimed he told her flat out that a woman couldn't be president. Never mind the fact that Bernie Sanders has fought hard for women's issues throughout his entire political career. Never mind the fact that Bernie Sanders endorsed Hillary Clinton after losing to her in the 2016 primaries.

You also saw how CNN first broke the story, then pushed hard on the narrative of sexism. The CNN moderator at the last debate even flat out ignored Sanders when he denied the accusation:

Sanders: “I never told her that a woman couldn’t be president.”

CNN moderator: “So Senator Warren, when Bernie Sanders told you that a woman couldn’t be president ...”

You might have also noticed how the mainstream media jumped onto the bandwagon and celebrated Elizabeth Warren's "courage" in calling out Bernie Sanders' alleged sexism. Some of my liberal friends on Facebook shared this viral op-ed:

Now my question: If the left is willing to slaughter an elderly white liberal like Bernie Sanders, what makes you think they won't go after YOU next?

Because in this Brave New World of identity politics, being an old white guy is now a liability. And when the pitchfork-and-torch-carrying crowd comes after you next, what will you say then? "Orange Man Bad?"
