Pat,

I think this is an important issue since ADSL affects ALL of the
RBOCS offers and pricing. Now you messing with the "sacred cow".

Think of it. If a GTE customer has an ADSL modem. They may subcribe
to Microsoft's ADSL Mutimedia Platform (remember the MSNBC announce.).

If you have an ADSL line:
--------------------------
* do you need multiple local lines for home -- no
* could you have multimedia PC based voice mail (not RBOC voice mail)--yes
* could it support video on demand (cable TV bypass) ---yes

As you can see, this issue is bigger than us. This affects many existing
offers and revenue streams. I suspect you'll see "content platforms"
offered by RBOCS (like Microsoft) or other partnerships based on
an ADSL offering.

ISDN does not have the bandwidth to present the above issues, ADSL
does.

Thoughts anyone?

Bob
