Rex: The news today said that the announcement will be made along with other major telecom companies. So IMHO, it's not just a simple announcement for a microcontroller chip with flash, but something universal that changes completely the way we use our pager/cell phone/hand held computers, something that links those three devices together. In fact, the news about the microcontroller was already announced by Siemens on Oct 6th without much fanfare.
