Wes my guess is they will not want their "shorts" being seen by other than their spouse or significant other. Once unregged holders bug the hell out of their broker for their dividend the second wave will be unraveled. Their butts will be fried. The brokerage house will then have to do something, but wait what are going to do, oh get the customer to sell his shares so that the dividend will not have to be paid, Hmmmmm ok give me $40 a share you can keep the dividend.... KaaaaaaaaaaaaChing MFers
