AOL did raise their price for unlimit internet access when everyone else only charged $19.95/month.

Netscape first set browser free, then charged $39.95 when they had monopoly position in browser until they had competition from IE.

When did Microsoft raised Win95 price? It was $89 4 years ago, it is $89 now. About OEMs, do you have anything solid back your up or you just made up yourself? Did OEM prices ever higher than $89?
