I know I'm free to do that, and that has nothing to do with this discussion at all. My point was that the girl scouts aren't heavily into god, as you said they were. The boy scouts seem to be more god centered, at least in some chapters, but in the girl scout chapters I have observed, and in the literature from the national level, the girl scouts do not seem to be heavily in to god at all, and are, in fact, so not in to it that you can replace "god" with whatever word you want- so when you described them as you did, I think that is incorrect. Have you any experience with girl scouts (I'm just curious, but that is personal; if it is too personal please ignore it)? This has nothing to do with what I choose to say, or believe, or what you do, oath wise, or believe wise- we were describing the girl scouts.
"The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are heavily into "God, Home and Country" knowledge and responsibilities."
I think the girl scouts ARE into knowledge and responsibilities. So we can agree on that. |
