Ed, I also wish this nation could get back to the times, and attitude, that made America as great as it is today. We are heading down a slippery slope.

I think that the side we show to the rest of the world is "my country, right or wrong", to eliminate any thinking that we are weak, or disorganized, in our approach to the rest of the world. There is only one spot for a nation to be the leader of the world, and I want it to be us. If we make this country right, in every way, we will deserve the title, but there are a lot of warts we need to burn off first.

The Bush administration has made some mistakes, but I shudder to think what would have happened if Gore, or Kerry, were President when the crises began to hit us. Gore is no more than a knot on a dead wooden stump, and Kerry is both a coward, and a liar, with no backbone. He knew how to play the system to get some medals that he never earned, but when it comes to running any country, he is incompetent.

The Bush administration may have agreed with the uninvitement of those techs, but they are not the ones that insisted on it. Actually, I would be leary of anyone that voted for Kerry, myself. Of course, I felt the same way about anyone that voted for the Clintons, having lived for a little while in Arkansas, and knew what kind of ruthless people they really are. At least, Hillary is ruthless, and will run over anyone that tries to get in her way, but good ole boy Bill went along with it.
