A good example of the lunacy going on in this country is the politicized fight over O'Hare airport in Chicago between the Governor and the Mayor of Chicago. The U.S. Congress has threatened to get involved, the Mayor of Gary, Indiana has gotten into the fray, and the FAA stands by stupidly.

Meanwhile the airlines themselves have offered a solution that would work. The politicians are ignoring them

This country has become a farce.
