OK, so...
Ashcroft decides that you know something about the 11/09 attacks.
You are seized and taken into custody.

What 'rights' do you have? Rephrasing, what 'rights' do those currently held over such allegations have?
- does anyone know who is held?
- are they allowed lawyers?
- constitutional protection?
- ... innocent until proven guilty... ???

You have whatever 'rights' Mr Big chooses to allow you. That's it. If he chooses to deem you a terrorist, tough. Prove it otherwise.
No rhetorical tricks, now - you know what I mean. People can and are being imprisoned, in the US, right now - without due cause, proof, representation etc. No rights. only might is right.

Sure, they *might* be guilty of something...
but hey, are you sure that none of your relatives ever immigrated illegally?? have you or anyone you know ever used, supplied or concealed illegal drugs? have you ever conspired to do so (that's possibly a felony)??
