Mr. Dave Rovig reports
Brimstone has intersected a high grade gold intercept in the eastern ore shoot at its Mayflower mine in south-central Montana, U.S.A.
Hole 98-37 reported as much as 6.580 oz/ton gold in a penetration 440 feet below the 1300 level.

Hole No. 98-35 was drilled between two 1961 Anaconda Company holes, both of which also targeted the eastern ore shoot below the 1300 level.

A drill indicated resource of 10,000 ounces of gold and 75,000 ounces of silver was calculated by Anaconda for this two hole zone.
These four holes demonstrate ore grade mineralization, over mineable widths, occurring from 280 to 440 feet below the deepest mining on the eastern shoot, and clearly document a significant downward extension of this historically mined zone.
The eastern ore shoot was mined continuously from the surface to the 1000 level prior to 1943. 1958-1961 production from the 1000 to 1300 levels of the eastern ore shoot averaged 2.42 oz/ton gold and 14.9 oz/ton silver.
Underground drilling is continuing.
The Mayflower mine is an historically operated underground gold/silver mine 30 miles southeast of Butte, Montana. This mine produced over 225,000 ounces of gold and 875,000 ounces of silver from 143,700 tons of ore (average grade of 1.556 oz/ton gold and 6.15 oz/ton silver).
Brimstone Mining, Inc., a Montana company and a subsidiary of Brimstone Gold Corp., conducts pre-production development work at the Mayflower mine under a small miner's exclusion permit obtained from the State of Montana. If a mineable reserve is identified, mine production is allowable under this permit.
