Your assumption number 5 may no longer be valid. This quarter Micron is on target with their original goal of 25% increase in unit production. What I don't know for sure is whether this is because of increase in yield or some other factor. Note that they are blaming part of the 12% to the fact that they had to stop and restart - not because yield was extremely low. (They also blame increasing inventory). As I had posted earlier, CEO and CFO had better not be trading on material negative information that is not being supplied to general public, i.e. me and you.
