Diamond Discoveries: Airborne Survey Underway
7/22/2005 9:33:29 AM

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jul 22, 2005 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) -- Diamond Discoveries International Corp. (DMDD) is pleased to announce that McPhar Geosurveys Ltd has started flying the airborne magnetic survey over the company's Torngat Mountain property. The survey, covering the 420 square kilometer area is a major step in the identification and localization of potential kimberlite pipes and dykes associated with known diamond occurrences.

The helicopter supported airborne, high sensitivity magnetometer survey will cover over 2,859 line kilometers on an east-west grid of 150metres line spacing by 1,000metres length. The program will take approximately 10 days to complete and preliminary results should be available towards the end of July. An integrated interpretation of all of the newly acquired geophysical data, together with the existing geological and geophysical data will be undertaken by the firm of Watts, Griffis and McOuat. A report of the results is expected shortly thereafter.
