Somebody help me out here - Converse who lost close to 2.00 a share last year and is not even profitable is up 4 to 20 while VANS who has beat the street estimate for 7 consecutive qtrs - should earn close to 1.00 this year and has already announced a 30% increase in backlog for the current qtr over the same figure a year ago - IS DOWN 1.00 on a day when the NASDAQ is up 30 points. Go figure ?
