Hi Steve, I guess cautiously optimistic is the best anyone could be
about PCOM. Management is still an unknown and no break-thrus
in solar panels seem iminent. Cost per watt has risen a bit I believe
due to supply problems, well actually demand is up, thats a good
thing I guess as long as pcom doesnt end up with supply problems.
I was hyper enthusiastic about this stock some time ago, mostly
because I like solar power stuff, and I may have imagined more
potentrial for solar than is really there. I saw telecom stuff as a huge
potential market but most telecom sites have ac power. Like always,
solar panels have to hit $2 / watt or less to at all compete with
commercial power.

I'm glad sales are hanging in at 25 M / year but I cant predict any
orderly growth potential for pcom. The latest acquisition still makes
them the only company I know of consolidating the industry and its
blipped the stock up a bit.

My scenarios for pcom to really take off are:
1) mid east war, oil crisis, etc
2) big contract
3) al gore-solar tax credits etc

I'm very happy I sold 80% of my shares at 2 13/16, I was unwisely
over weighted in pcom. I'll keep an eye on them indefinitely and
see how coors does in the solar biz. Lately I like andw wtt maybe
even iom. I almost cant imagine iom not making $2 / share in a year
or two and selling for $40, but like always, who knows??

Good luck, Gerry
