I don't think any kind of rumor at this point has any merit at all. The deal is only 2 weeks old and I doubt the DOJ has had anything to look at so far nor will they for another month or two.

At this point anyone that says they know whether this deal will or will not be approved telling you bunk.

I think all JDSU needs to do is divest themselves of their 980nm division and this deal goes through w/out incident. Something tells me they'd be willing to sell this off to get SDLI's.
