He thinks that Dr. J. blew it with the FT interview

Human natural reaction against different voices is usually like this:

1) Totally Disbelief and

2) Getting Angry

3) Fall into Silent

4) Start to think about it.

5) Gradual acceptance

The Euros are NOT going to do anything no matter how well and polite your presentation is. They will keep on rolling their eyes and walk away because the voice is not loud enough at all to start that cycle of reaction.

It's not like Dr.J was the first one to say things are not looking good for the UMTS, it's just that when he speaks, everybody listens. So Dr.J bust their bubble and they are reacting like the crowd watching the naked emperor. Let them get angry, let them crying foul. Without the start of the cycle there will be absolutely no chance at all to see them wake up from their fantacies.

You always speak based on your vision, you always predict what will happen instead of what happened. Three months later, do we still see the same outrage? Hell no, all we hearing right now are some murmurings of protest. Or some emotional shouting back(Nok paper) and what else? The world is watching. Guess what will be their reaction by the May 2002? They will start to think about it. They will say hey I guess the man is right, yet again.

Yes, that's a very risky move at that time, but then we have to ask, if not him, who should be the one bust the bubble? Who should be the one say the emperor has no cloth?

Let sissies play the respect game. Anybody thinks there's no war is in a state of denial. Anybody thinks the waiting game will stop by itself just because of a few pats on the back is in a state of denial.

Let somebody else play the Mr. nice guy. Do what Kobe said, "We are going to cut your heart out".
