- a few days ago we were talking about flag desecration in the context of freedom of expression. it appears to me today such activity is not a crime.

- today we are talking about someone in congress speaking undesirable/unpalateable words. is that not part of freedom of expression ? Dont like his words, dont vote for him...

- Are we going to curb our rights to freedom of expression, because some extremists will use it as another arrow against us. Are we going to let them do it to us ?

BTW : US Military has spent many years outside US territory presumably to keep the concept of freedom alive. I remember the Seventh Fleet in the Indian Ocean during the 1971 Indo-Pak War.
