Even freedom of speech, which I esteem highly, is limited by considerations of incendiary usage, slander, or fraud. The right against self- incrimination goes no further than a right not to testify against oneself. One can be compelled, by proper warrant, to supply evidence against oneself, and both are in the Bill of Rights. Yes, we need review many of these matters to see if the balance is correct, but some adjustment is inevitable......
