Artists aren't "about" money, although of course like everyone else they need it to live.

I count two artists among my friends.

The first is a very talented painter who supports himself and his wife quite well selling his paintings.

The second is a talented painter, though somewhat less so than no. 1, who seems unable to sell his paintings. He's married to a physician, who supports the family quite well.
