I found this view of Dr. Fouad Ajami to be something very different from US media's view of the ME turmoil. I also listened to what Fareed Zakaria had to say on this issue. Both these folks, because of their foreign backgrounds in their younger years, have a view with which I can connect. Likewise, Obama having had some experience to watch the US from the outside during his formative years, also looking at things differently as opposed to say Tim Ryan, who grew up in OH and WI only. His comment that the attacks would not have occurred if Mitt Romney was President, is "severely ridiculous" and speaks of someone who does not have the ability of a broad understanding for issues and the resulting propensity for taking this country in a wrong direction like W did.
