Had a similar call on Sunday. The proxy hadn't arrived then, although it came yesterday. It seemed odd to me to get such a call for an 800 share position. The only other times I've gotten such calls is either from mutual funds, warning that if I don't return the proxy they'll have to raise fees to cover the costs of more mailings, and for serious contests for directors' seats. It occurred to me that perhaps they were checking if the proxies had been mailed.
