Lyle & Christine,

Re the JFK assasination: Somehow, people do not seem to remember exactly how unpopular JFK had become. It is doubtful he would have been reelected in 1964. The main reason we have no official press photos of the actual assasination is that JFK was so incensed at the press and the manner in which it had been reporting the activitites of his administration, he had made them ride some 25 cars back in the procession through Dallas.

After extensive study of this time in history, it is learned that JFK had a number of enemies--both foreign and domestic--and any number of would-be assassins could have been out there to take a shot at him. In other words, multiple gunmen could have been acting simultaneously, but independently, thus fueling the fire of conspiracy buffs.

As an aside, JFK eschewed even the most basic self-protective security measures. This was common knowledge, making him a prime target in Dallas for anybody so inclined.

Just food for thought.
