This is a really stupid analogy.

If an American were tried in Germany under German law, he would be afforded all the rights anyone tried in German courts would be afforded.

That's why we don't dare try our prisoners in American courts or let them set foot on American soil, we don't want our rights to apply to them.

That's why there's a GC, so all captives will have some basic rights.

A proper analogy would be: What if Germany invaded Puerto Rico (deeming it a threat to Germany) and took prisoners. Would those prisoners fall under the GC? The answer is of course, and obviously, yes.

Why do you spin such pathetic analogies all to defend the indefensible: torture?
