I'll play skeptic for now.

Re the JFK assasination: Somehow, people do not seem to remember exactly how unpopular JFK had become. It is doubtful he would have been reelected in 1964.

Quite possible. If true however, why would some large dark secretive entity take the risk of having him assasinated in November, 1963 with little more than one year left in his term.

For example, JFK's cavortings with women was pretty well known to say, the CIA. It is the early 60s and Kennedy is a Catholic. Divorce is not an option. If I was part of the CIA and wanted to be rid of him I would have scandalized him, a far safer (more or less legal) course of action than trying to mount some large murder and coverup conspiracy.
