I hope this thing does go to 50. I will hold for the excitement to come. Short term options? I am in july calls. To me that is a medium term time frame for an option. As far as a foundation I have one and it is in blue chip techs (Microsoft,Ascend,Quantum,Dell) mostly in the form of LEAPS. These are trades that satisfy my need for excitement. I have more of a foundation than anybody I know personally that is my age. I'm sorry I irritated you guys, sometimes that's my idea of fun when I get bored. The way I look at it is if Apple is a major core holding in someones portfolio they are putting it at high risk long term. #1 pick for next 6 mos. is Ascend Communications.
