i don't see how they are related at all. esti is developing a percutaneous transmyocardial revascularization technique (in english, you thread a catheter into the heart, and shoot holes in the heart muscle with a laser, supposed to improve vascularization / blood flow into areas of heart that have poor blood flow). Eson makes a diagnostic device, which images the interior of coronary arteries. The Esti device was tested as an adjunct to bypass surgery. I suppose if the TMR improves the results of bypass surgery as much as is claimed, then more people would be in line to get angiograms, which could possibly increase use of Eson's device. On the other hand, the main use of eson's device would appear to be as an aid in reaming out coronary arteries, so that you can avoid bypass surgery. if TMR improves bypass surgery to the point that balloons, stents, and intracoronary lasers are less effective, then Eson would have trouble. all told, hard to predict any relation between the two companies.
