George: No idea why AVID got soft on eve of NAB. But she's strong today in the face of a big over-the-counter sell off. Just my opinion, no facts, but maybe the digital cameras might be a negative for AVID Newcutter; as the former products allow 'brief-case' editing via their mini digital format tapes. Even AVID ofers an integrated camera Ikie/AVID that can edit within the cam's HD the whole PKG.
