One caveat by me on civil unions. If it means extraordinary expense & confusion for the rest of USA, I withdraw my support. A miniscule portion of the entire population does not deserve undue expenditure of the country's resources...with two exceptions--children and senior citizens. The gay community often acts like toddlers with their temper tantrums demanding national attention to their "wants". They're entitled to that lifestyle, but not to unreasonable accommodation by everyone else.
