THE PLIGHT OF AUDIBLE ALARMS

Robert, yes, you are correct. There was a NY Times article last week regarding audible alarms. Already, in California, many parking areas ban and/or restrict audible alarms. For example, UC and CSU systems, have banned and/or placed restrictions on audible alarms. Violations of these restrications will result in the removal of vehicle via towing. Furthermore, most private parking structures implement similiar restrications.

HAS GUN...WILL STAY AWAY

There is no way that you will get me to approach a thief that has triggered my car alarm. Confrontation = Violence. He/she can take my DeLorean. With an AlphaTrak system, I will "Trak" his/her ass, disable vehicle, and sic the LAPD on them...within minutes.

Car thiefs will not be able to outrun and/or hide from military satellites via GPS. Thiefs should think about ripping off cars that have LOJN installed...they would have a better chance.
