Do you use the mouth guard to prevent biting in your sleep? I have, for years, been biting the inside of my lower lip or the side of my tongue. I've ruined pillows with blood stains. Not to mention putting up with days of swollen tongue or lip until the bite heals.

Interesting thing though. A couple months ago I bought a new "Sleep Number" bed. After I got it properly adjusted, I haven't bitten myself ONE time. The other day I napped on my couch. In about 30 minutes I had bitten my tongue twice and finally got up.
